Scott Contracting & Excavating has worked out of the same West Kelowna yard for over thirty years. Privately owned, running our own iron with our own crew.
Our story
From digging to demolition.
The company started as Scott Excavating, the original division of The Roc Doc Ventures Ltd, digging foundations and preparing sites across the Okanagan Valley.
The work grew. Today demolition leads: retirement homes, warehouses, arenas and fire-damaged commercial blocks, backed by crushing that turns the material into usable aggregate and the sitework the company was founded on.
Asbestos and hazardous materials run through Haztec Solutions, our sister division at the same address, so a combined job stays on one schedule with one point of contact.
We are committed to sustainability and to minimizing our impact. On recent major projects that has meant 80% or more of demolition material diverted from landfill.
What comes off a site doesn't just get dumped. Metals, timber and materials worth saving get recycled through Smokin Joe's Recycling and Salvage, our recycling yard at the same address. Teardown to recycling, one operation.
