Who these terms cover

This website is operated by Scott Contracting & Excavating, a division of The Roc Doc Ventures Ltd. ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

Information, not a contract

Everything on this site is general information about who we are and what we do. It is not an offer, a quote, or professional advice. Project descriptions, timelines and figures describe past work and do not promise the same outcome on yours. No work is agreed until both sides sign a written contract, and nothing on this site forms part of one unless that contract says so.

Quote requests

Sending a quote request costs nothing and commits neither side to anything. It starts a conversation. How we handle the information you send is covered by our privacy policy.

Accuracy

We keep the site current in good faith, but conditions, capacity and regulations change. We may correct or update any part of the site at any time without notice, and we do not warrant that the site is error-free or always available.

Our content

The photographs, video, text and branding on this site belong to us or are used with permission. They document our own jobs and our own crews. You may not reuse them commercially without written permission from us.

Links to other websites, including our sister divisions Haztec Solutions and Smokin Joe's Recycling and Salvage, are provided for convenience. Each site is responsible for its own content and terms.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or anything on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of British Columbia.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute about them belongs to the courts of British Columbia.
