The job.
The City of Kamloops holds stockpiles of rock at its Civic Operations Yard, and under a municipal services contract, Scott Contracting & Excavating crushes it into usable aggregate that goes back into the city’s own works.
Crushing on a client’s yard means bringing the whole operation to the material: crusher, loaders, screening and a crew that runs it as a production line while staying inside a working municipal facility’s rules and traffic.
The contract is ongoing. It reflects the crushing capability we have built out in recent years, on our own yard in West Kelowna and on client sites. Rock and concrete go in, spec aggregate comes out, and the hauling cost of moving material twice comes off the table.
